Concerning the black boxes with the red & green buttons on them. Here in France they are being made illegal from next year. Everyone is being forced to spend about Ł400 on the new key start system which has seperate accessable components. This is supposedly because it has proved possible for internal modifications to be made to advance the ignition timing on the old boxes and obtain significant performance gains. Personally I think this is BS and it is just a ploy to sell everyone expensive new ignitions.
However if this is the case it could have implications for Easykart and other formula that use the same system in the UK, Any thoughts.
