Are you sure you have looked at the right chassis when getting your prices?
On the Zip site the Evo and TopKart are shown as Ł1850+VAT for the rolling chassis. The only Zip I could find listed at Ł1350+VAT was the Bambino!
On the Strawberry site they list the Tonykart EVR (Rotax/KF3) at Ł1900+VAT.
The Zip site states that the EVO is made in Italy so exchange reates would not be an issue.
