The nearest other track is Bayford Meadows (www.bayfordkarting.co.uk), but I don’t think that has lighting / operation in the dark.

The only other option I can think of is Daytona Sandown Park (www.daytona.co.uk): they definitely have lighting and would be running throughout a Saturday evening, but may already be booked up – wouldn’t waste any time getting in touch.
Sandown (in Esher, Surrey) should take you no more than 1 hour from Brands, probably somewhat less (roughly that route took me only about 40-45 mins a few weekends ago – good thing Ian’s away!).

We’re planning to go to the FF Festival, too.
