Start off at a pressure you know for your class as this will vary from class to class.

Check your pressures as soon as you come off track,ideally get your helper/pusher to have the gauge with them.

If your pressures have gone up more than 2 psi from the start point then lower by 2 psi for the next heat. Keep lowering till they dont increase by more than 2 psi but be sure to check straight away when you come off,on a real scorcher of a day you'll end up so low,maybe 6/8 psi,scary i know but just try it,it worked for us.

Lowest we ended up at on a 125 gearbox was 6 psi,on short circuit and with retainers
