You ARE welcome SYMON COCKHILL and everyone else.

You have completely misinterpreted the facts.

As you know Rye House is a small venue.

Trying to accomodate huge motorhomes and trailers and huge awnings is difficult, especially when some visitors are awkward and refuse to move an unused car so that someone can have a space for karting.

Some S1 teams turn up and need rather a lot of space sometimes.

That is what it is about.

Of course we welcome S1 drivers, it's an honour to have them turn up at our little club and great to have the opportunity to mix it with them.

Rumours and misinterpretations like that are stupid and damaging and completely uncallled for.

We have a speedway track adjacent to us and share the car park.

We have to try and pick a weekend where we can use the carpark withut a speedway event and even that is subject to change if bad weather disrupts their calendar.

Anyone is welcome at Rye so long as they behave themselves. Dead easy really.

Hopefully, next year will be a monster event and of course, S1 drivers will be as welcome as they always have been.

I'ts actually nice to know that they enjoy the fun event amongst all the deadly serious stuff they do.

So, rumour disspelled hopefully, we do love you S1 drivers and hope to see you next year.

With luck the recession will have eased and we can big the event up to what it should be again.

Oh, and a big thanks to Gordon (the Moron) Brown for this years recessive input by him. A*******.
