Hi Simon,

Not a basic question, don't be afraid to ask: that's what the forum is for.

We use two tie-wraps to secure the holder to the seat, with the ends on the outside, so it doesn't cut into the driver's back.

In addition, we fit a third tie-wrap over the transponder for extra security. Check the tie-wraps now and again, as they wear through due to vibration.

Details of positioning the transponder can be found in the karting regulations.
