Back in the days when I was at school, the school club used to go to WestonZoyland for testing.

We just used the bit where the runways intersected and had a few tyres to make it more interesting than just a triangle.

Class Four Supers, twin Bultaco (as in one each side) engines with new fangled 'Sheene tuned' conical exhausts, open face cork helmet and the ever present liability of a plug blowing out of the cylinder while pointed at your head!

And with 8 very tempremental horsepower a side, probably slower than a current Prokart, on skinny scooter tyres and drum brakes.

Can't imagine why we ever moved on.
