A bit of an odd comparison (if you include the Aixro):

The only one of those engines that has been around quite a long time is the Biland, production of which ceased towards the end of 2006. Word-of-mouth is that they last a long time if the cam belt holds up, which seems to be a bit of a cr4p shoot.

Suter ceased production of the Vampire in October of last year stating that the business was unprofitable. They weren’t around for long, but clearly also had huge reliability problems in their main market of Germany, at least (judging by the biggest thread ever on the leading German karting forum).

Wenko’s Swissauto (note: it’s one word) is probably still too new for such figures to be known, though I understand that engines are currently subject to a recall. Also used in detuned form by the “RX250 Challenge” series Sodi karts.

Again, I don’t think the Aixro belongs in this grouping, but long life is also claimed for this engine. Similarly, not many will have had them long enough to actually prove it. I know of some 100+ hour cases without problems, and my 70+ hour engine is still fully competitive with brand new ones. But so what, those are just isolated anecdotes.
As an ownership and driving experience, it’s in a completely different league to the above three.
