Hi guys

Thanks for the quick reply.

Thinking about it, DavyBoy, you are more likely to be correct about its age as the picture Beermoneyracer posted is the same as the one I have. The tyres are 5" for sure, 2 look OK but the other 2 were slashed by the former owners ex-girlfriend 10 years or so back who at the same time put ironfillings into the engine.... talk about a woman scorned =;o).

So really I should try and source a period engine then if I want to keep it as it was.

Thanks again for the historic karting link but any more info is welcome too
