winger, ignore them, they're just being silly.

Generally we run mags in hot weather and ali's in cold weather. Mags dissipate heat differently to ali's. The best thing to do is just back to back them.

i.e. if you've got a set of alis and a set of mags, on a day with constant conditions, try them both and see whats quicker. (You'll probably need to use the same tyres).

Mags are the most popular, I suggest putting your tyres on your mags, unless your searching for a tenth over a rival at the front of the grid I don't think you'll notice a difference between mags and alis.
