is not consivable (sp) that he was not the ONLY driver with an 09 barrel.

Maybe they are quicker - but, surely all the top driver would have ensured they had them, therefore it is a level playing field and he was still the quickest.

I thought the point was that an 09 barrel was a good as the best of previous, so a stonking 04/05 or whatever was now only as good as the latest and therefore you can all buy a GOOD barrel to give to a GOOD engine tuner to get it sorted.

I have ever only knowingly been up against one dodgy motor, and it was about 0.4 seconds a lap faster than me, and he was caught and removed. I have been with people who appear to have a quicker engine, but when you look at it from the drivers seat you can often see where the time has come - good set-up and good driving.

I am lucky in that I have raced TKM for the majority of my karting and if my jetting has been out I have been able to "tune" it to suit the conditions. Maybe this chap's mechanic just got the jetting 100% spot on and the others only managed a 99% success. 2/ motors are fussy little buggers.
