Two points: Firstly it doesn't appear to be designed with karting in mind unlike the leatts.

Secondly, if you go onto the forum of the Leatts site it will give you about 20 reasons why their product is better. Obviously you need to read between the commercial lines, but it seems to me we have a product here that has at least the potential to do more harm than good, especially cheap copies that are probably made in such away to get as close to the original without infringing patents. What's safest may not be the primary consideration.
