Dan, I have tried inters on ally dry rims and it worked a treat, your theory of more surface contact worked well, not sure about the mags tho, my only concern is if i at 40something yrs old lay in bed thinkinbg that then fair enough, but surely a young whippersnapper ladies man like you can think of something better??, best of luck with the southern champs paul
