Testing mags against ali wheels under same conditions is the only way to find and answer.

We ran Ali and Mag wheels in testing at Larkhall Last week , hot day and track. Ran same psi and found Ali let the tyres come On by lap2 but were going off (over heating by lap 8 ), whereas Mags came on lap3 and didn't go off even after 15 laps.

Ran mags in final (22 laps) and won the race. Lap times peaked at lap 10 but were still only a few 10ths slower at the last lap.
Have found very similar results at many races, with hot day/track we find mags work and last better.
ps Maxxis greens on tkm 4s
