exactly,

so the conductivity cannot be assumed from the conductivities of the pure component elements.

the conductivity of a part will vary also depending on its geometry, i.e. amount of material used and where it is.

if you want to check how two types of wheel compare stick them both in the freezer or oven until they are heat soaked and then time how long the very centres take to reach room temp when u take them out. no waving them around tho :)

as mag wheels require less material they will be lighter and acheive a faster homogenous temperature than standard al alloy wheels

from a design point of view, mag alloy is a better material to use.
