Pete, having to scroll or even mess about with zoom settings, puts me off sites and I don't go back.
I want to enter a site with no fancy flashing gizmo's.
Yours is ok because it doesn't have any of that but I didn't read anything on it because of the scrolling.
I went in and came out again.
The reason I no longer buy from Dartford Karting is because of the stupid logo that covers every picture and I know other people who were put off by the logo.
We have to deal with and design sites that are used by people with learning difficulties and clarity and simplicity are the keys to a web site that people will come back to.
UK karting and Karting1 are both simple and do what they say on the tin, you can only impress people once with a gizmo but you can also annoy them every time with one.
Not putting any dampers on it, merely what I look for in sites.
