Hi, i have always used a stanley knife blade, drag the blade using the full width to avoid digging into thr sticker. This will get rid of the bulk of the rubber then use brake cleaner and a scotch pad.
When you have got the pods clean give it a coat of auto glym silicone spray to shine up the pods. This stops new rubber from sticking as well.
