It was great to enjoy a whole day of warm, dry conditions at the third round of the CPKC championship today. We had a large number of races to get through and thanks to the great weather, and the hard work of all drivers and officials, the day went very smoothly and efficently.
A reminder to everybody that the June is our annual charity event featuring the Chris Hart and Robert Bailey Memorial Trophies. This event is in support of Cancer Research and we want as many drivers as possible to support the event in both Junior and Senior TKM classes. The 2008 event raised over £3500 which we hope to match this year. A prize fund is being developed, however we would like to hear from additional sponsors who are willing to contribute in some way. However large or small that contribution this is an extremely worthy cause and in memory of two drivers who were great friends and fondly remembered in the club and at the circuit. There will also be a raffle on the day to enable drivers in all classes to take part and support this event. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
