I sometimes really cannot understand the steward’s decisions, in the cadet final at GYG on lap 6 a driver left the circuit drove along the grass and rejoined the track some 200meters along the track. When he left the track timing says he was in 10th place, when he rejoined he enter just in front of 5th and 6th place drivers making them spin of the track and then timing showed in crossed the line on lap 7 in 6th place. The driver then finished the race in 8th place. So he took a short cut and in doing so broke the lap record by 1 second, he took out 2 leading drivers and gained 4 places. In the tracks SR it states if a driver leaves the track and gains an advantage and does not give the advantage back then a 20 second penalty should be added. In this drivers case first they gave him a 2 second penalty, then after complaints gave him a 2 place penalty, so he finished in 10th place (And got a trophy) This in my opium is the craziest decisions I have seen in a very long time. The driver through his actions should have at least had the 20 seconds added dropping him to 20th but many there believe should have been blacked flagged for ruining 2 drivers races and rejoining in a dangerous place.
