Hi Rich,

The engine mount should be 28x92, which means it is suitable for 28mm chassis tubes at 92mm centres apart: this is suitable for the Cadet chassis.

If you have been using a mount designed for a larger diameter chassis tubing, I would think that could be the reason for the breakage.

You can buy a new mounting from most kart part suppliers, but you may have to drill it yourself to suit your engine.
Some may supply pre-drilled: visit a few on the wed and see what's on offer.
