If somebody wants to pay that kind of money for that motor... its a free country and they're welcome to do it. In fact, if they want to offer the guy another GBP5K for it, they're welcome to do that too. The market for such buyers is quite limited [if it exists at all], so by asking that kind of money for his motor, the guy selling it will significantly constrain his chances of selling it.

As my mother used to say... fools and their money are easily parted !
