This happened to us recently. If you know you have lost your license in advance of the race you just call the MSA license dept and ask them to fax the appropriate document to the competition secretary of the club you are racing at. I would call the comp sec as well just to make them aware. For this there is no charge.

If you turn up on the day without a license then as has been mentioned you are charged Ł50 to be able to race.
