Please let me apologise David.
I (along with a few others) read into your thread that you had been asked to lift the kart over the 1" bar by the scrutineers. I can only suggest that you speak to JAG to get the clutch checked or for them to issue another statement that only warm clutches will bite at less than the 3000rpm. I'm sure that they would exchange your clutch if they found it didn't perform as expected.
