do you want optimum grip from the tyres though?

id have thought that would be when they are melting onto the track

remember tyre pressure is your only suspension on a kart, so you have to look at the overall effect on lap times really.

i didnt really answer your question did i?

It is good to record tyre pressures and temps along with track and air temps, and of course lap times. you should find an optimum to aim for then.
