Longer races and grid positions set by qualifying does seem to work in Easykart. There are very few first lap incidents. I managed to do last season with zero crash damage.

Although it can be fun coming through the grid, mixed grids in heats will always put value on taking big risks on lap one. One big risk that might net up 5 or even 10 places while everyone is bunched up ... or the risk of 10 individual passing moves over the next ten laps? (if you even get the opportunity to make up that many places)
