Spoke to the guys today at Whilton. These seat are very light and flexible . retail price is about Ł250 inc VAT and they said life expectancy is around 6 months - this will depend on how often you race.
Apart from being very light-weight, they will flex which will be an advantage if you need to reduce grip.
