I think Carolynn has done a great job to get someone like Bernie to take an interest in karting.
Sure the trips to Europe would be too expensive for most of us but a great opportunity for those with bigger budgets and hopefully more publicity for the sport which will help attract more kids.
Ideas may have been tried before and come to nothing but that is no reason to stop trying. Maybe bernie has the clout to get some of the F1 and Rally teams to donate some `team ware' as prizes not just for the front runners but maybe on a draw basis. Things that you can't buy easily but would probably mean a lot to the kids who win.
