Well.... there is a simple advantage with a karting helmet...... you are (probably) SAFER using one!

The reason why Motorcycle helmets don't 'pass' our tests is that 'we' consider them LESS safe! A lot of the reason appears to be the manner in which they are tested. Karting helmets are required to pass what is considered to be a more rigourous test procedure!

I assume you are not doing MSA racing or how in god's name are you getting through scrutineering with a helmet that doesn't (seem to) pass 'Karting' tests?
