Each to their own method.

The disadvantage of the "use what works" method as compared to the "let's work out what's doing it" method is the difference between witch doctory and science!

Nobody DOUBTS that the ancient method of "try EVERY bit of bark in the forest to cure a headache" actually PRODUCED Aspirin (from Willow bark)....

..... however, it must have taken THOUSANDS of 'tests' to find it. How many poor b*gg*rs with headaches tried oak, apple, pear, lime, ash, poplar etc. bark and finally Ivy and Laurel.... (both of which are POISONOUS).... before they got to Willow?

Secondly, we didn't get Ibuprofen, Paracetemol, Novocaine, etc.. by eating tree bark....!

Clearly, NJB's methods work for HIM.... but do the REST of you win THAT many championships using that method.....? Nor have I with MY method, either..... but OTHERS have: McLaren, FIAt, Williams etc..!

As I said, each to their own!
