I apologise in advance for my rant but I want to make a point and get some grids at a track that is at least relatively near me.
I'm looking to get my TKM Extreme out this year for a bit of fun and not too expensive racing. However it once again looks like that i'm going to virtually have to do a British Championship in terms of distance and if thats the case then I wont be going out. I live in South West Wales and so the nearest tracks are thus:
Llandow - 2 hours
3 Sisters - 3.5 hours
Clay Pigeon - 3.5 hours
Dunkeswell - 4 hours
Rissy - 4 hours.
GYG - 3.5 hours
Dunks used to be my 'local' when I raced regularly in TKM but now I want some fun and relatively cheap racing at my local that I can travel to on the day, and so that is Llandow. I will be doing to odd event further away but come on guys, people on here moan about travelling an hour to a track, and some poeple have 4 or 5 tracks closer than I have one!
So this is an appeal, any people who have a Senior TKM lets please GET A GRID AT LLANDOW, i'm out purely for fun and i'm sure the club would agree to people running older outfits if you have something sitting in your shed, I don't want to be racing with Rotax all season long. So if you are interested or have any ideas, please reply to this thread.
