I have OTK magnesium rims and the beads are always a bugger no matter what make of wheel you have.

Do we really need them? I've heard they are there to keep the tyre on the rim but makes like Jet Wheels don't have them at all and they work fine.

Could i just block them off so I don't have to keep taking them in and out every time i change tyres?
