Well, our 2008 engine, straight out of the box, is fast and it hasn't even been 'doctored' yet and still has the seal intacko facto!
I would be the FIRST one to hammer Rotax if it was anything other than good but I only lambast the bad things about Rotax and our engine is a good'un.
It's a 2008 engine about 2 months old and it runs sweet all through the rev band and is one of the first barrels hat we have ever been able to run down on 155.
The Teflon is still intact too.
On the other hand, the new reed block is a petal muncher and a pile of poo.
Still, you can't win them all, I just hate all those bits of fibre getting in the engine so i'll go back to the old type unless I can reface the new one to my satisfaction. :)
