In my mind, the skill to stop a driver from participating in the first place is not one to be proud of and is not what racing racing is all about. It's tantamount to sabotage and quite possibly cowardice. If that's the way you would seek to win a race, why not run 10 teeth more than everybody, enabling you to run a much slower rolling lap making the entire grid stall (for dd classes) and you the winner by default?
I'm all for gaining any and all advantages:
a) In the preparation of equipment b) After the race has begun (yes, including using kerbs)
but not for stopping your competitors competing in the first place.
