It certainly seems as though this has been worded to confuse...

"The protection must be placed laterally in relation to the disc..." I read this simply as being to the side of the disc

"...in the longitudinal axis of the chassis..." surely this is a straight line running lengthways front to back along the middle of the chassis? So the protection needs to be in the middle of the chassis under the rear axle???? It might have made more sense if it said ...in the longitudinal axis of the rear axle... i.e. to the side of the disc and centred on it.

"...or under the disc" well at least that bit is clear
