Alan's sentiments match mine exactly!. It's very tempting to go out and put your kid on the best new equipment but does that teach them to drive? We put Jack out on a damp track on slicks, we couldn't believe his kart control! He isn't that quick yet but he can 'feel' his kart and I think the speed will come. We don't know yet if he is a winner but does anyone sat on the grid know for sure that their child will win? Isn't that the whole thrill of racing?
Lewis didn't know he would win that last Grand Prix!
