The problem for me is not 'not winning' but wanting to keep on doing so. So far it has been possible to be very competitive on a relatively small budget, but as you move up it becomes more and more expensive.

I've never been a material person, I moved to France to get away from the rampant commercialism in the UK. But having dicovered karting and having a child who has proven to be one of the best drivers in the country (France)in his age group, it is rapidly becoming torture to consider that at some point in the not too distant future I will have to pull the plug simply because the money will run out.
