Basically, you must get six signatures to go from Nat B (novice) to Nat B. You then need a further six signatures to go to Nat A. Out of the twelve signatures the driver must have raced at three different venues. All signatures must be obtained while competing in MSA races at MSA affiliated circuits. Racing on non-MSA events do not count.
