I've just read all of your posts on this thread and the only consistent thing you've been doing is insulting people.
First, read and understand what people are saying and the points they're making before you lash out.
Second, by all means attack the point a person's made, but not the person themselves.
If you read what I said earlier, you'd see that I am not advocating shunting. In fact I am vehemently opposed to it. This is the reason why I am complaining about the use of plastic front nose cones in karting.
Front nose cones have encouraged drivers to behave more wrecklessly on track and as a result the number of front->rear impact incidents has dramatically increased since their introduction.
Its clear that very little in the way of penalties are dished out at race events as a result of shunting so my suggestion was to raise the prominence of the activity by having a deformable front structure, which when damaged would result in the exclusion of the driver from the results.
And its not just at race events. My brother took my Max out a few weeks ago in Bayford Meadows. He's not very experienced and was several seconds off the pace... but it was a test day. He stayed out of people's way and allowed them by on the straight. Nevertheless, one well known individual punted him off 4 times... the final time ripping the rear bumper of my kart completely. I asked him why he did this on a meaningless test day and he just shrugged his shoulders. He couldn't see anything abnormal about what he'd done.
Prior to the introduction of the plastic front nose cones, this kind of behaviour was less prevelant because the person behind would be less inclined to whack somebody up the a$$ because they were aware that they could come off pretty badly themselves.
I know that plastic front and read bumpers are safer when a shunt happens... but because of that they have created a situation where shunting isn't consequenced and more of it happens.
