"Recently a CoC told me a story about your attitude at a recent meeting, I didn't ask, he told me, now ask yourself, can we all be wrong?"
Ironic then that the first I knew of this opinion of his was on this forum, when you have made such a strong recommendation that such incidents should be 'dealt with on the day'. I literally knew nothing of any displeasure from the CoC on the day. Indeed the aforementioned CoC was the very same that signed my license upgrade card. Should I have recieved the signature if what I did was so wrong? Apparently I was nearly not allowed to start the race (again I only became aware of this fact days later on this forum).
And all this about being treat in kind. The whole saga began when I was spoken to like a child by an official, low and behold I reacted in kind. This is clearly no crime but in fact standard practice, so why all the fuss?
I am the first to admit that I am not whiter than white, but I genuinely believe that what happened to me on that day was wrong. Having paid my fee, the very least I expect from officials is to be treated with due respect. If they do, I will do the same. If they dont..... I'll take your advice and treat them in kind!
And your "ask yourself, can we all be wrong" comment: You have obviously asked yourself and decided that the CoC you were speaking to was right, despite the fact that you weren't even at the meeting. Nice one!
Your 'argument' is flawed in many, many ways and so long as it continues to be flawed, I will continue to challenge it.
Would appreciate a reasoned response to the points I have raised.
