Steve you have confirmed what I thought in that you are completely unwilling to listen to what is being said if it is not what you want to hear. That is a personality disorder and I'm now happy to make that claim since you think its OK to dismantle my character on this forum.
It says a tremendous amount to me about the hierarchal structure of our sport when a man like you is near the top. I will continue to enjoy my karting and I will continue to pursue my ambitions within the sport. However, I will accept as well that as the stakes rise, the administrative playing field becomes less and less level. This may end up a tit-for-tat exchange because of your very nature, but I would genuinely appreciate a face to face discussion if we ever get the chance. I vehemently deny that my attitude is in any way 'bad', and I would like the chance to defend myself properly. I would hope that you would afford me that opportunity and you would appreciate the person that I really am. This could work both ways.
I would also hope that you appreciate that before I put my fingers to the keyboard I think long and hard about what I write. I am not so sure that this is how you operate, having read your contributions over the last few years. I know there are no rules about thought processes before posting on here, but with particular respect to your role within the MSA, I incorrectly thought it would matter more to you.
Finally, as food for thought, you appear to be a man with a long memory. At the time when our paths inevitably cross, will this little episode have any bearing whatsoever on your judgement or not? I would hope not, but my hopes are never my expectations.
Regards
Steven Welsh
