I love the concept: 'nipped in the bud' used here!

What sort of 'flowers' have YOU been seeing? Normally, the bud forms into a flower within the year ...... as this form of 'contact' has been common since the 1950s when I started karting, that's a 'bud' that has been about to 'bloom' for over 50 years!

My point? It is NOT new!

Yes of COURSE it should be stamped out! Yes of COURSE it is completely unacceptable! Yes, it WOULD need rigorous and VIGOROUS CoC's and that IS something which have reduced in number over the years..... when I was a LAD........ by HELL did we have VIGOROUS (or damned-nigh VISCIOUS) CoC's and karting was all the BETTER for it!

How do we cure the problem? Give the CoC MORE powers and DEMAND that they USE them to punish the 'star' drivers who are the ones who DO 'set the standard'!

If you punish little 'Johnny Nobody', then NO-ONE will notice.... BUT.... if you punish (let's guess), the British Champion (and I STRESS that I am NOT meaning any specific champion!!!!), then everyone WILL take notice!
