Sorry for yet another rant...... BUT, what is the point of the clerk of the course saying - nee screaching that ANY contact is not acceptable when racing. To then say when a serious matter is brought to his attention, and I quote ' contact is all part of racing' and can't be stopped!!! My son fell foul of a blatant and dangerous bout of raming by one driver in a heat at the weekend, the incedent was witnessed by several dads, drivers and on track drivers yet the matter was dismissed by the clerk - when I pushed to make a protest I was advised not to do so.
So what is the point????? My son lost a good final postion and had to be talked into racing in the final at all. Plus it seem the driver in question has used the same attacking style of driving in the past, yet nothing has been done about his very poor driving standards.
I give up!!!!
