I was down on Sunday and it was quite busy.

There were a lot of what I call 'non plated' karts who were probably out for a fun day.

The level of skill would have been quite varied out on track but those faster drivers should have the courtesy to allow for your son's inexperience and instead of moaning at you, should have offered advice.

I hope it wasn't any of our Club members who were moaning at you.

Don't be put off by the muppets, they leave their non existant manners and brains at home and don't worry, they are probably crap drivers and will never make the grade anyway.

You paid your money and were just as entitled to 'practice' for that is what it is, just like anyone else.

They all started in the same way and should remember how daunting it was.

There were probably offered help back then.

I saw your kart with the 'running in' sign on the back and they have got to be completely thick if they couldn't grasp the fact that you would be going slower.

Most drivers seemed to negotiate past you ok.

I know you weren't the only newbie, as I saw a Dad moaning at his Son in his new blue suit, saying he was dangerous because he kept looking around.

Next time you fancy a weekend down there, give me a ring (07759361238) and I'll try and persuade my son to tag along as well and give you some advice re: lines and setup of the Max.

We're local in Boroxbourne so you won't be putting us out.

If you haven't seen a race day, bring the lads down on Sunday the 5th October.
