To be honest I dont have experience of using the cheaper rings, but those in the know will tell you the Honda rings are nothing exotic, I believe they all come from Asia, many of the aftermarket ones come from the same factory as the honda ones, I think NPR (Nippon Piston Ring) is the big name in asia who supply Honda.

I just wrote another 3 paragraphs on what else to do, but then deleted them as I have to stop spilling my guys disclosing technical solutions which took me several years to perfect. Best of luck.

All I will say is this - if you just replace the piston rings, this is going to end in tears. If you want the job doing properly then contact me via my website or call 0787 9427945, dont worry it wont cost the earth.
