Ah, Camberley. Excellent choice. That's my nearest track. From what you are saying, I wouldn't worry too much about tuning your kart for the wet. Stick with the advice above in getting the seat in the manufacturer's standard position. If it does happen to be wet, just move the rear hubs in 20mm in from the end of the axle and the fronts out as far as they will go. There will be a lot to learn from a driving at this stage so I would keep the kart in this setup and focus on driving technique. There is a danger with karting that you can end up changing too much too often and particularly when they are novice it's more the driving that needs sorting. Once they are quick and consistent you can start gathering data and refining the settings but as a starting point, I would go with the generally accepted normal settings for wet and dry for now. If you still need help, Des at Veneno covers Camberley and Forest Edge. He's particularly good at getting novices up to speed and he knows the BRM kart too.
