I think you will find your costs more in X30, the equal engine line is rubbish, there is as much difference now as there is in rotax, tyres wise exactly the same, if your in junior instead of mini max you also have the carbs to deal with which are as tempremental as the iame cadet ones. So basically the playing field isnt level regardless of what your told and also a season will cost you more engine and carb wise than in rotax. Perhaps the x30 class as been promoted more by teams and engine builders due to you needing one or two rebuilds a year and carbs servicing regularly. Dig deep !
