Rapidshed.....in standard format, like CompDad says, the T1 carb appears to have bigger main jets, so it probably makes a bit more performance when comparing standard carbs, but once a T2 is jetted properly on a dyno, there is nothing in it.

The T2 is a better engine as it has bigger valves and lighter reciprocating parts, hence breathes more and spins up quicker, quite simply the more air you can move through an engine, the more performance it will have.......you can only adjust the fuelling to the amount of air being moved through.
