The max torque clutch is fantastic for standing starts and definitely has an advantage over the magnum. The only downside is they do wear pretty quickly. these do comply with the MSA regulations (or did when i last looked).

With the Magnum you can play with both the settings and the springs. Setting 2 with blue springs complied with the engagement requirement as well. This was slightly behind the max torque in delivery but lasted significantly longer. My experience was with Honda Senior so a bit more weight than a cadet!
