Hi guys
I am new to Karting here, i am 20 years old student and i have some questions here. I am highly interested in Kz2 racing as i was always into cars and racing, raced a few rally's, and now i want to compete in karting.
1) I am 100kg what would this affect on a kz2 race ? (I am currently on a weight loss diet, aiming for 90kg)

2) I have bought a nearly new Kart. A Birel 6 shifter Kart (2008 model) yet have not driven it. Is that a mistake staring with a shifter kart ? As some people advice is. As i said above i have been into racing from a very young age.

3)what would be the average cost just for training on the weekends, not for racing for now. I am planning to learn the kart first and basically feel confident with the kart and then we will see for racing.
