BULLETIN 1032016:

Following the high incidence of drivers brake testing other competitors on track and approaching park ferme, a new drop down systen for plastic rear bumpers has been developed, similar to the front fairing design.

This will be available for testing and use from August 2016 and compulsory from 1st January 2016.

The bumper width is to be manufactured to a set width of 1390mm and a 'go not go' guage will be used to check maximum and minimum width with no exception for wet setup.

The aim is to extend the 'non contact' aspect of the sport.

Penalties will be the same as the front fairing penalties of a ten second time penalty, without appeal.
